Warehouse Operations Graduation

Northern Futures graduates say the industry visits they make during their certificate level training are the most valuable part of the course – and the forklift training is the most fun!

Speaking at the Warehousing Operations (Certificate II) graduation ceremony in October, Amber….said she found the industry visits hugely valuable because of the insights she gained about the way different organisations operate.
“I feel like I’ll be going into a workplace filled with knowledge,” she told the audience.

Another graduate, mother of three Rachel… also found the industry visits worthwhile and paid tribute to the teachers and Northern Futures industry partners.

The class of ….visited… sites during their 13 week course, including Avalon Airport, Viva Energy, Cotton On, …
Roray McNamara, ….at The Gordon, urged the group to give themselves the best chance of success in their future careers by stepping up to the challenges they face within the workplace.

“It’s important to have a go, even if you think it might be too much for you. There’s always someone willing to help or give advice,” Rory said. “Be someone who can be coached, someone who can be taught.”

Trainer Rob… described as having leadership skills, a quiet, high achiever, a great asset to any organisation, ready to work and easy to get along with. What great skills to take into the workplace.

Congratulations to all our graduates!
